Prolific songwriter and one-time Arkansas resident Joe Purdy returns to this state for a gig at George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville. Purdy, who has recently been working on a project with acclaimed British songwriter Billy Bragg (and brought him to Little Rock for a surprise show), will perform at 9 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 16) in support of his most recent release, “Eagle Rock Fire.” Admission to the event is $20, and tickets are available via stubs.net. Brian Wright will open the show.
